Del (Peter Dinklage) is alone in the world. After the human race is wiped out, he lives in his small, empty town, content in his solitude and the utopia he's methodically created for himself - until he is discovered by Grace (Elle Fanning), an interloper whose history and motives are obscure. Worse yet, she wants to stay.
Peter Dinklage as Del
Peter Dinklage's breakout role came in 2003, when he redefined the concept of a leading man in the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award-winner The Station Agent. Since then, Peter has been a constant force in the acting world, best known for his role as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, for which he has won two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. He has starred in such films as X-Men: Days of Future Past, Death at a Funeral, Living in Oblivion, and many others. Recent films include Martin McDonagh's Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri with Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell, Mark Palansky's Rememory with Anton Yelchin, and in Jon Avnet's Three Christs with Richard Gere.
Dinklage's theater credits include A Month in the Country at Classic Stage Company, Things We Want at The New Group (Drama League Award Nomination,) the role of Chester in the world premiere of Knickerbocker at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and the title roles in William Shakespeare's Richard III and Anton Checkov's Uncle Vanya among others.
Elle Fanning as Grace
In 2013, Elle was nominated for a Critics' Choice Award for her performance in Sally Potter's film 'Ginger & Rosa.' She played Sleeping Beauty opposite Angelina Jolie in Disney's 'Maleficent,' which earned over $750M in worldwide box office. She previously starred in 'Super 8,' directed by JJ Abrams, and 'Somewhere,' directed by Sofia Coppola. In 2016, Elle played the lead in Nic Refn's horror thriller 'Neon Demon,' which premiered in competition at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She also starred in Mike Mills' '20th Century Women' and Ben Affleck's Prohibition-era crime drama, 'Live By Night'. In 2017, she starred opposite Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst and Colin Farrell in 'The Beguiled,' directed by Sofia Coppola. That year, she also filmed 'Galveston,' directed by Melanie Laurent, written by Nic Pizzolotto, and co-starring Ben Foster. Last summer she filmed the upcoming musical 'Teen Spirit' which was directed by Max Minghella. This year, she will return to her role as Sleeping Beauty in 'Maleficent 2'.
